Cell Phones

Finally we see the day where there are unlimited cell-phones. I choose ATT (not because I like them), but because I use an iPhone and that is the only carrier in the US that supports the iPhone. I do know that tMobile is supported with a little hacking, but they have bad service in our area. Sprint and tMobile's deal are the best (if you live in a sprint or tMobile area of coverage. Theirs are truly unlimited - unlimited text, unlimited talk, unlimited media, unlimited internet (all in the US).

It's funny how they all introduce them so quickly when one company did, when they all claimed it was impossible before.

VOIP / Lingo

I'm sure by now you have heard of VOIP (Voice Over IP). I played around way before it was available for the general public. Then when Lingo came out with it, I was one of their first customers. I've checked all the different companies, and I'll be staying with them. Why? Well, the unlimited to 22 companies is very nice. I have some international customers.

Check out Lingo here

Welcome!

I just want to take a moment to welcome you to our company blog. I’ll be posting on here frequently (provided I have the time), about web related topics.

WordPress 2.5

Wow! I must say I am really impressed! WordPress 2.5 is a very big improvement over previous versions. Not that previous versions were bad - there weren’t.

The interface of WP 2.5 is very easy to navigate and has a whole new look, with many more features.

Magento 1.0 is here!

magento store
Well, this past week we saw the release of Magento 1.0 - the first production version. While osCommerce was a great idea, had a great vision, it basically stopped there.

Magento, on the other hand looks very promising. With the first production version it already has more features than osCommerce.

They also have professional support.

Magento's interface both front and back-end (admin) is slick and easy to use.

The screencasts are awesome, allowing any user to see how to do things in Magento.

We're excited about this new software and have begun development of three sites based on Magento.

My hats off to the team over at Magento Commerce.

If you are interested in converting our osCommerce site, or you want a new Magento site, give us a call or shoot us an email.
